Alva James Kincaid, Sr., passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019. Alva was born October 21, 1946 at Lafayette Indiana to the late George Owen and Bonnie Lee Wetzel Kincaid. He was a Marine Corp Veteran, retired welder for Carman Industries, Jeffersonville and proprietor of Kincaid Garage & Welding, Bradford, IN and a member and Past Master of Greenville Masonic Lodge No. 416 F & A M.
Also preceding him in death were siblings George Kincaid, Jr., June Smith and Brenda Lowery, granddaughter, Meagan Kincaid.
Surviving are his wife, Jean E. Schilmiller Kincaid.

Funeral 11 A.M. Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Swarens Funeral Home, 1405 Hwy 64 NW, Ramsey, Indiana with burial in Saint Michaels Cemetery, Bradford, IN.
Visitation 3 – 8 P.M. Monday, and after 9 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family wishes to thank Indian Creek Health Care Center and Baptist Health Floyd Hospital for their kindness and care.
