The family would like to thank the physicians, nurses, techs, and the caring comfort shown to us by the Hospice and Palliative Care teams as our much beloved husband, dad, poppie was escorted from Baptist Hospital Floyd with the full honors of a “Stars and Stripes” exit. Many people lined the way, hands over hearts, for the flag draped coffin. Taps played and the chaplain prayed as our beloved began his journey home.
