Obituary for Janet Gribble
GRIBBLE, Janet Ruth, of Crawford Co., IN., passed away on Wednesday,
December 14, 2022.
Janet was born December 4, 1948, to Mr. Theodore Dudely and Mary Blanche Dudely (Sheen), in
Lewistown, Idaho. She was married to Mr. Thomas E Gribble for 54 yrs and was a secretary at an
automobile manufacturing facility.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jason Gribble (Nanette), Thomas, Jr. (Joy), and Jeanette
Jones (Ken); as well as grandchildren Jasper, Wilder, Forest, and Marion. Lastly, she is survived by
siblings Dan “Butch” Dudley (Krissy) and Karen Dudley.
For those of you who knew Janet; the scout leader, Lapeer Steelers supporter, Harley rider, dance mom,
band mom, Avon lady, and much more, she was a giver.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Stroke Association and the Michigan Masonic
Charitable Foundation in her name. Cremation was chosen and there will be a celebration of life at a
later date.
