John William “Jack” Stickler, age 79, passed away Monday, December 21, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. Jack was born April 21, 1941 at New Albany, Indiana to the late Edward Victor and Jane Isabelle Dierking Stickler. He was an Army Ranger in the Korean War, former employee of General Electric, Ramsey Popcorn Company and retired from G.F. Munich Welding. Jack’s passions were owning his greenhouses, cedar wreath and garland business, always proud of his garden and canning his produce and loved to fish.
Also, preceding him in death were siblings, Herbert Stickler, James Robert “Bob” Stickler, Clarence “Bud” Stickler and Mildred “Sis” Schuler.
Surviving are his wife, Rena Lois Fessel Stickler.
Children; Kelly Conrad (Greg) of Sellersburg, John F. Stickler (Edy) of Corydon, Kimberly Taylor (Gordon) of Depauw and Jeffrey Stickler (Kristi) of Depauw.
Grandchildren: Paige Conrad Scott, Arielle Conrad, Brad Stickler, Kyle Stickler, Samantha Taylor Duffy, Sydney Taylor Schram, Savannah Taylor Nokes, Kayla Stickler Jones, Kelsey Stickler Musall, and Brianna Stickler.

Cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be at 7 PM Saturday December 26, 2020 at Swarens Funeral Home, 1405 Hwy 64 NW, Ramsey, Indiana.
Visitation will be 2 PM to 7 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
