Obituary for Lester Ann "June" Windell
Lester Ann “June” Windell, age 59, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2020. Ann was born June 10, 1961 at New Albany, Indiana to the late Lester and Violet Bruner Windell. She was former owner and operator of Ann’s Chem-Dry Carpet Cleaning Service. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Indiana Business and Professional Women, HEART Humane Society, River Valley Humane Society and Animal Adoption Network, among many others. Ann attended Hursttown United Methodist Church and Blue River Chapel.
Surviving are brother, Eugene Windell (Evelyn Oyola) of Jasper, Indiana; sister, Norma Helen Windell Lincoln of Ramsey, Indiana. Nephew, Jerry Lincoln; nieces, Jessica Boteler, Rachael Lincoln and Cortnay Divilla.
Funeral 11 AM Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Swarens Funeral Home, 1405 Hwy 64 NW, Ramsey, Indiana with burial in Loudon Chapel Cemetery, Depauw, Indiana.
Visitation 2 – 8 PM Wednesday and after 9 AM Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made the Animal Rescue of choice or Harrison County Animal Control.
Daughters of American Revolution memorial service 7 PM Wednesday.
