Obituary for Lyman Delaney, Jr.
Lyman Delaney, Jr., age 72, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021. Lyman was born Nov. 25, 1948 at Fort Ord, California. He was a graduate of Indiana University, served in the New Albany National Guard Unit, proprietor of Southern Indiana Office Merchandise, former auditor for Humana, worked in real estate and accounting. Lyman enjoyed playing softball, golf and basketball. He was an avid fan of IU basketball and Cincinnati Reds baseball. During his youth he gained notoriety playing the electric organ in a band called The Nomads.
He was preceded in death by his father, Capt. Lyman Delaney.

Son: Derrick Delaney (Kelley) of Depauw, IN
Daughter: Wendy Delaney (Craig May) of English, IN
Grandchildren: Ava and Logan Delaney and Tanner May
Brother: Robert Denny Delaney (Judy) of New Salisbury, IN
Cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be held at a later time.
