Obituary for Narvin Leroy Stowers
DEPAUW, IN:
Narvin Leroy “Pete" Stowers, age 84, passed away Friday, December 23, 2016 at his home. Pete was born January 21, 1932 at Louisville, Kentucky to the late George Washington and Ruby Payton Stowers. He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War and Army Reserves with combined service of 30 years, retired maintenance supervisor from E.I DuPont De Nemours & Company, Louisville, Kentucky, a member of Milltown Masonic Lodge No 661 F & A M, a charter member of Shively Masonic Lodge and the Milltown Christian Church. He was a substitute teacher at Crawford County High School, received his Masters Degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Social Work and Theology, a volunteer with CASA in Harrison County and a volunteer with Wayside Mission.
Surviving are his wife, Marianne Hillen Stowers.

Burial in Kentucky Veteran Cemetery, Radcliff, Kentucky
Visitation 2 – 8 P.M. Tuesday at Swarens Funeral Home, 1405 Hwy 64 NW, Ramsey, Indiana and at the church after 10 A.M. Wednesday.
Masonic rites at 7 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
