DEPAUW, IN:

Paul Lee “P. L.” Smith, age 82, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at his home. P. L. was born October 2, 1933 near Byrneville, Indiana to the late Oral and Ethel Hess Smith. He was retired from the Ford Motor Company, Kentucky Truck Plant, a Navy Veteran of the Korean War and a member of Unity Chapel United Methodist Church, Ramsey, Indiana.

Also, preceding him in death were brothers; Clyde & Howard Smith, Russell Smith, killed in action in WW II, Wayne Smith, Ellsworth & Bruce Edmondson, sisters; Marilee & Ilene Edmondson.

Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Applegate Smith
Sons: Alan Smith (Angela), Scott Smith, Clay Smith (Lisa) & Tim Smith (Carol)
Grandchildren: Nikki Sieg (Gary), Kelly Faith (Nathan), Lexie Zink (Darrell, Jr.), Devan, Cody, Collin, Lacie, Sydney, Kenzie, Cole & Autumn Smith
Great Grandchildren: Kinlee & Khloe Sieg, Alba, Sawyer & Coy Faith, Ava Zink
Brother: Larry Smith
Sister: Janet Haycox
Many nieces & nephews, great nieces & great nephews

Funeral 3:00 P.M. Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Unity Chapel United Methodist Church, 1760 Lost Creek Road, Ramsey, Indiana with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Depauw, Indiana.

Visitation 2 – 8 P.M. Friday at Swarens Funeral Home, 1405 Hwy 64 NW, Ramsey, Indiana and 10 A.M – 3 P.M. Saturday at Unity Chapel United Methodist Church.
