Robert William “Bill” Adams, age 91, passed away Monday, April 24, 2017 at Harrison Springs Medical Campus, Corydon, Indiana. Bill was born November 26, 1925 to the late Alva and Beulah Kilzer Adams in Tennessee. He was a WW II American Merchant Marine Veteran, a retired farmer and truck driver for the old Consolidated Freight Way Company, Louisville, Kentucky. He was a member of the NRA, 60 year member of Masonic Lodges No 341, Cupio, Kentucky and Crandall Masonic Lodge No 591 and Unity Chapel United Methodist Church, Ramsey, Indiana.
Also, preceding him in death were siblings, James and Betty Adams.
Surviving are his wife, Marion L. Pitts Adams.
Son: Robert L. Adams (Sharon) of New Salisbury, IN
Brother: Joe D. Adams of Goodlettsville, TN
Granddaughter: Brook Nicole Adams
Funeral 11 A.M. Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Swarens Funeral Home, 1405 Hwy 64 NW, Ramsey, IN with burial in Woods Chapel Cemetery, with Military Rites.
Visitation 3 – 8 P.M. Wednesday and after 9 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
Masonic rites will be 7 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Unity Chapel United Methodist Church, in care of the funeral home.
