Ronald “Ron” Paul Prather, 53, of Palmyra, IN went to be with the Lord, January 24, 2021, with his loving wife, Dee and best friend, Eric by his side.
He was born in San Diego, CA, on September 24, 1967.
Ron loved his wife and family. He loved helping others. He was an avid reader, loved music and old movies. He was a self defense and martial arts instructor and a fitness coach. He was a veteran of the United States Army and an English Professor with a Master Degree in English Fine Arts.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Dee, of Palmyra, his mother, Linda Garcia (Dan) of Brandenburg, KY; Step mother, Anda Prather of New Salisbury, IN; his children, Derek (Catherine), William & Logan Prather; step daughters, Josy Schultz (Logan), Alexandra McKinney (Sean) & Grace Stafford; grandchildren, Ben & Marcus Prather, Elliott, Evelyn & Ezra Schultz & Magnolia McKinney; step sister, Sherrice Meek (Jerry); Step brother, Shawn Thompson (Kiwi).
Ron was preceded in death by his father, Bradley R. Prather & his loving sister, Margie Prather, his grandparents, Bradley & Pearl Prather & Sam & Ardella Beets.
A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate his life at a later date.
