In Loving Memory of Jack Nelson
Jack Nelson, 80, of Ramsey, IN passed away on Friday November 25,2016 at Baptist Health
Floyd Hospital.
He was born on August 4, 1936 in Victoria, Texas to George and Estelle Nelson. He was an
army veteran and retired superintendent of 25 years with American Synthetic Rubber Corporation. He
was an avid golfer throughout his life until his final days, recording his first hole-in-one just this year.
He was preceded in death by both his parents(George and Estelle); brothers, Alvin Lee and
Jaydell; sister Sue Taft; and grandson Justin Nelson.
Jack is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Theresa Wright Nelson of Ramsey; sons,
David Nelson(Kenna) of West Valley City, UT, Greg Nelson(Jeri) of West Jordan, UT, Joe
Nelson(Amanda) of Charlestown, IN, Rick Goodridge(Tammy) of Floyds Knobs, IN; daughter, Lorri
Boone(Bobby) of Houston, TX; brother, Donald Nelson(Donna) of Victoria, TX; sisters, Dorothy
Gibson of Lake Charles, LA, Georgann King(Jack) of Victoria, TX, Chigger Hammack(Bill) of
Victoria, TX, and Ruby Santy(David) of Tucson,AZ, 10 loving grandchildren(Tosha, Brittany, Devan,
Kallie, Amanda, Cassy, Ally, Kenzie, Ethan, and Donnie), 3 loving great-grandchildren(Weston,Ryder,
and Daxton)
There will be no funeral services held, but instead a celebration of his life, on Wednesday
November 30,2016 from 12pm to 6pm, Jack and Theresa's home will be open for friends and family to
stop by to celebrate Jack's life together. Their address is 2025 HWY 64 NW Ramsey, IN.
Throughout the years, many people have honked to say "Hello" as they drove past their home.
We ask that you show that Jack and Theresa are in your thoughts by honking as you drive by their
home in the coming days!!
